Portside Boulders Osborne Park
PSBlogo.png

Opened: 2019

Type: Bouldering Gym

Location: Perth, Australia.

Climbing Surface: 546m2

Matting: Flipp Crashpads

Construction: Usteto

Normally in spaces like this, the climbing walls are located around the perimeter, with islands through the centre. Not here! The huge ship-like island takes prominent position centre stage. This configuration allows for maximum social space and circulation, whilst providing plenty of climbing surface. The large panels allow great route setting flexibility with different features merging into each other across the surface. The island shape creates a spectacular competition finals wall and spectator space.
TESTIMONIAL

"We have worked with Michelle for a number of Portside Boulders projects over the past 4 years and could not recommend her more highly.

Across each project, Michelle has effortlessly translated our vision for the sport and prospective facility into aesthetically pleasing wall designs which have proven themselves as inspiring terrain for setters to create movement on. Her experience as a wall designer, climber and architectural designer combined with her artistic flair have also ensured our gyms stand out from the rest.

Further to the above, Michelle is receptive to feedback, professional and prompt in her replies making collaboration a breeze!" Ferdinand Renouard Lariviere
